A couple of us have appeared on Packet!

So far, M1CMN and G7IWV have had a test, and works well, quite amazing how fast it is for simple text data.

If anyone local wants to have a go and hasn't got the equipment we might have a TNC you could try out. If you have the kit, blow the dust off and come and have a play.

The activity is on 144.950 1200baud. 

At the moment we are both running low power 5w for testing.

In Folkestone, M1CMN-2 is my mailbox, M1CMN-8 is the Node. Keyboard to Keyboard chat direct If I am around, just connect to M1CMN.

We have a couple of people that have said they are interested in having a play which would increase the coverage somewhat and a chance to connect to a BBS down in Sussex.
